HMD Global launches Nokia 6 (2018) with Zeiss Optics at #MWC2018

This gives an hint that the smartphone giant is set to have an awesome 2018 too. As usual with Nokia, you get the latest version of Android – in this case Android 8.0 Oreo – and the promise of speedy updates in the future. The dual-SIM handset features a Snapdragon 205 chipset, 512MB of RAM, and 4Gb of internal storage. The rear camera setup consists of a similar shooter with the same number of megapixels and aperture as the Nokia 7 Plus.

The phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chip and 6GB of RAM.

HMD Global, the company that now makes Nokia -branded phones, launched a slew of smartphones on Sunday, including a high-end offering to compete with giants Apple and Samsung. The Nokia 8 Sirocco now uses the same 12MP regular and 12MP wide camera of the Nokia 7 Plus.

While the display remains the same size and resolution, there’s been a slight reduction in the bezels top and bottom as this phone gets a little shorter.

It is also first Snapdragon 660 powered smartphone to launch on a global scale.

Also, the phone will run on pure Android, made possible by Google’s Android One initiative. A 3,000 mAh battery keeps things running. The battery will last for about 14 hrs. It comes with dual tone LED flash and sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

All of the devices will also be available from April with the Nokia 1 costing $85, Nokia 6 €279 and Nokia 7 Plus setting fans back €399.

The Nokia 1 that features a 854×480 4.5-inch display and a quad-core MediaTek processor operating at 1.1GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage underneath, has a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front camera. Additionally, the mobile may feature 9V/ 2A quick-charging support and come with a USB-Type C port. On Sunday, it announced two new models, plus refreshed versions of three phones first offered a year ago.

We have already talked about the Android 1 in detail here. Like a fine samurai sword, one that you can just TELL is incredible. It is backed by a 1,500mAh battery, and there is also a 2MP camera on the rear. Though you guys have the option of expanding the memory upto 128 GB via microSD card. This in line with the recent trend of wireless charging in flagship smartphone, that got flagged off with the launch of the new iPhones late past year. LG seems to enjoy spoiling its own surprises, so it confirmed we’d see an updated version of last year’s V30 that’ll probably be called the V30S. The phone pairs with a 512GB RAM and internal storage of 4GB which can be expanded.

These devices are really interesting be it their features, designs etc.

As soon as it pops up, the official YouTube broadcast will be embedded in our post here so you don’t need to leave your favorite place on the web for breaking tech news and exclusive hands-on coverage.
