The Samsung event in NY has just got over and in the event, Samsung has officially unveiled the latest Samsung Galaxy Note8.
The Galaxy Note 8 is packed with power and features Samsung’s first stab at Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The new phone is somewhat identical to Galaxy S8 smartphone in terms of design, except that the Galaxy Note 8 is more rectangular in shape. The Galaxy Note 8 sports two 12MP sensors at the back. It’s 6.3 inches large, to be exact and boasts the company’s QuadHD Super AMOLED resolution. The phone boasts a widescreen 18:5:9 aspect ratio. There are three other colors available, Orchid Gray, Maple Gold, and Deep Sea Blue.
All of this is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 6GB of RAM, which should make for a snappy experience even when multi-tasking. Additionally, the device has every expected specification such as Iris scanner, fingerprint scanner, Samsung Pay, WIreless charging, fast charging, ANT+ support, USB Type C support.
Rather than ignore the Note 7 catastrophe of a year ago Samsung’s President of mobile communications DJ Koh acknowledge the event and thanked the fans of the firms Note series. Furthermore, the S-Pen has a finer tip and improved pressure reception. The front camera offers an upgraded 8 megapixels for selfie lovers.
The Note8 is also the first Galaxy smartphone with dual camera setup. Screen off memo allows users to take up to one-hundred pages of notes as soon as they remove the S Pen, pin notes to the Always on Display and make edits directly from the Always on Display.
