Is No Mercy going to be Braun Strowman’s coming-out party?

As one of the most polarizing main event superstars WWE has produced in recent history, Roman Reigns is no stranger to the steady mix of boos and cheers he receives on a nightly basis.

Roman Reigns def. John Cena. Enzo, thus far, hasn’t really distinguished himself thus far as anything more than his former partner -Big Cass’ undersized, tagging along for the ride, flunky.

The match itself was a standard match that wouldn’t look out of place on Monday Night Raw. Crews, on the other hand, has been stuck in mediocrity. Axel hit Jordan with a cheap shot and Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.

Last but not the least, the event will also see Neville defend his Cruiserweight Championship against the newcomer to the division, Enzo Amore and the predictions imply that a new champion will be crowned by the end of the night. Losing the title now doesn’t feel right.

And the ex-UFC world heavyweight champion will now put the title on the line against the 6ft 8in Monster Among Men who manhandled him at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York like no one else. They really don’t have time for more than one storyline with them.

A cracking opening to the show saw The Miz retain his Intercontinental championship as he overcame the challenge of a talented Jason Jordan, albeit with a little assistance from his Miztourage. Titus O’Neil helped Akira Tozawa capture the Cruiserweight Championship, so this could be the start of Crews finally making up for being called up to the main roster too early. I would like to take a second to say thank you to the WWE Universe because they have been so unbelievably generous and grateful and loud and responsive in good times and in bad and they single-handedly allowed me to do this for as long as I have but I’m not gone but things are changing for me. I don’t think anybody can argue that.

Alexa Bliss retained her WWE “Raw” Women’s Championship via pinfall over Bayley in a Fatal 5-Way match. She deserves a quality run – whether it’s as a hero or a villain – and this is a good start for it.

The Shield brothers have been on fire since reuniting. In my Fantasy Book column, I had this match ending with a weak double count-out and I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens.

Who will win: Ambrose and Rollins. I don’t see this being a one-off match. He says he was hard on Roman by design in the build to this match and it is his job to be the best or the vehicle to the person that is the best. After watching their face-to-face promo battles, Cena came out on top.

After we get done scratching our heads from the finish of that match, we’ll have to move on to wondering where we go from here for the next PPV. Can’t bet against him here.

Victor (and new WWE Universal Champion): BRAAAAAAUUUUUUUUN! It dazed Strowman who tried to smash Lesnar in the corner to break the hold. With the ref’s back turned, Enzo kicked Neville between the legs and then collected a pinfall to win the title.
